On Friday, December 1st @ 7:30pm, the North Myrtle Beach Community Band will provide a FREE Christmas Concert featuring holiday favorites and classical works.

The program will feature a variety of compositions including, but not limited to:

    • Festive Overture by Dmitri Shostakovich
    • A Winter’s Night – a piece based on Silent Night arranged by Rick Kirby
    • Nimrod from the Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar

Soprano soloist Joy Jordan will also perform Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” as well as “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.”

And for all the trumpet enthusiasts out there, our director Dr. Richard Johnson has not forgotten you! He has also programed a rousing rendition of “Deck the Halls” featuring the trumpet trio of Marty Slapnik, Michael Elliott, and Daniel Byron of the NMB Community Band.

This will surely be a wonderful night of music to put you, your friends and family in the Christmas spirit as we enter the holiday season. We look forward to hosting you at the J. Bryan Floyd Comnunity Center off of Possum Trot Road on Friday, December 1st at 7:30pm.
