With everything we have endured over the past few years, what is truly worth a Celebration?

On Sunday February 20th you are invited to a FREE Celebration Concert Event presented by the North Myrtle Beach Community Band at the Myrtle Beach High School Auditorium. On this night, the North Myrtle Beach Community Band will premiere “The Land Called Chicora” by Paul Murtha, which was commissioned specifically to celebrate our group’s 25th anniversary of making music for our community!

Other selections from our program will also celebrate:

  • The courage of Rosa Parks with “Today Is The Gift” by Samuel R. Hazo
  • A salute to American pilots abroad with Kenneth J. Alford’s “Eagle Squadron March”
  • Our first responders with Robert W. Smith’s “Suite for the Heroes Among Us”

The band will also present  “Rondo for Horn” by Richard Strauss which will feature our principal French Horn, Mr. Andrew Gore as a soloist.

Please note that this FREE concert will take place in the Myrtle Beach High School Auditorium on Sunday, February 20th at 4pm. Doors open at 3:40pm.
