On the heels of our Pops in the Park concert our Board is pleased to announce an additional performance for the 2022-2023 season!

This performance will feature small, Chamber Music groups which will be a departure from our traditional performances, and can surely be considered a bit of an “experiment” to see how our membership and audience enjoys the experience. We are simply calling this performance a Summer Showcase featuring Members of the NMB Community Band.

As the name suggests, this performance will showcase the talent of our band members (and a few friends) playing demanding repertoire in chamber music formats. We have established Brass and Woodwind Quintets, a Euphonium soloist, Brass Choir with Organ and a Clarinet Ensemble.

The program will also include a 4-hand piano feature to include popular music and patriotic selections.

This FREE event will take place on Saturday, July 22nd at 7pm at Trinity Church in Myrtle Beach. We hope that you will add this performance to your calendar and be sure to come out to hear the wonderful music that our band members are preparing for this special concert event.
